Evaluating the Importance of Multidirectional Movement in Electric Shavers
Evaluating the Importance of Multidirectional Movement in Electric Shavers
Hey everyone, I'm on the cusp of transitioning from a manual razor to an electric shaver and have narrowed down my choices to the Philips Series 6000, 7000, and 9000. I understand that the 9000 and 7000 have 8-directional moving heads, while the 6000 series offers 5-directional movement. I am leaning towards the 7000 or 9000 for that reason, assuming it might give a cleaner shave, but I'm not sure if this feature justifies the higher cost. For those of you with experience in these models or comparable ones, could you share if the 8-directional heads truly make a significant difference in the closeness of the shave? Also, if the performance leap from the 6000 to the 9000 series is not substantial, would it be more sensible to opt for the more budget-friendly 6000 series? Lastly, if there's anyone who can compare these to the Braun Series 7 or 9 in terms of smoothness and comfort, that would be incredibly helpful. I'm looking for insights that will help me make the best decision for a close and comfortable shave without unnecessary extra expense. Thanks in advance!
