Can the Merkur 34C be used with different types of blades?
I've recently started using the Merkur 34C, a two-piece, twist-to-open (TTO) safety razor that has quickly become a staple in my wet shaving routine. I'm thoroughly enjoying the smooth, comfortable shave it provides, and I'm curious to know if I can experiment with different types of blades to alter the shaving experience. I've heard that some blades are more aggressive, while others are milder, and I'm wondering if the Merkur 34C is compatible with a range of blade styles. I've found that the razor's moderately aggressive nature suits my beard type well, but I'm open to trying out different options to see if I can customize my shave even further. The sleek design and non-slip handle of the Merkur 34C make it a pleasure to use, and I'm excited to explore the possibilities of using different blades to enhance my overall wet shaving experience. Has anyone else had success using the Merkur 34C with a variety of blades, and if so, what were their experiences like?

I think it's great that you're experimenting with different blades to find the perfect fit for your beard type. The Merkur 34C is a fantastic razor, and its versatility is one of its strongest suits. I've heard that some users have had success with pairing it with Astra blades for a milder shave, while others prefer the Feather blades for a more aggressive cut. It's all about finding what works best for you, and I'm excited to hear about your experiences with different blades!
