I've been following the discussion about starter shave kits and the debate on whether to go with a 100 pack of a single type of blade or a sampler pack. I find myself leaning towards the sampler pack argument, but I'm still not sure about the ideal number of different blades that should be included for a newcomer to traditional wet shaving. Should it be 4 types as previously suggested, or would a more extensive variety provide a better opportunity to find the perfect blade? Moreover, what's the best approach to balance quality, variety, and cost-effectiveness when putting together a starter shave kit? I'm eager to hear your experiences and recommendations on how to curate an ideal starter kit that wouldn't overwhelm a newbie but would still offer a comprehensive introduction to the art of shaving.

I've found that a 4 type sampler pack helps newbies find their best blade. Quality over quantity.
