I've recently been introduced to Israeli Couscous and I'm fascinated by the versatility and heartiness it adds to meals. This got me thinking about other grains that might offer a similar robustness to dishes. I've heard quinoa and farro mentioned as healthy, substantial alternatives to rice or traditional couscous, and they seem to also have great nutritional profiles. I'm eager to expand my cooking repertoire and I'm wondering, does anyone have experience incorporating these grains into their meals? What are your favorite recipes or preparation methods for quinoa, farro, or any other lesser-known grains? Additionally, how do their cooking times and textures compare to Israeli Couscous? I'm looking for suggestions on how to best use these grains in one-pot meals or as interesting side dishes.

I love using quinoa and farro in salads and one-pot meals. Quinoa cooks faster than farro and is great in stir-fries too!

I adore quinoa and farro! Quinoa works well in salads and farro is great in soups.
