Precision in Facial Hair Grooming: Scissor Size and Quality

I've been reflecting on the various posts discussing the use of scissors for trimming facial hair, and it really got me thinking about the precision and quality required for maintaining a well-groomed appearance. I currently use a 7-inch pair of barber shears for my goatee and sideburns, but I'm considering downsizing to a 5-inch pair for better control. It's evident that the scissors' action and sharpness can make a significant difference. Does anyone have experience with high-quality scissors like the Fromm brand, or the German-made Dovo sets? How much of a difference do these premium tools make in your grooming routine compared to more budget options like the Wahl barber shears? Also, for those of you who have transitioned from larger to smaller scissors, did you notice an improvement in your precision and overall satisfaction with your facial hair grooming?

I've noticed premium shears like Fromm offer smoother cuts and stay sharp longer, definitely worth it for the control and precision.

I've also debated upgrading for better precision and control.
