I've been contemplating the use of natural oils for maintaining my beard and stumbled upon an interesting post where someone experimented with various cooking oils like olive, avocado, and sunflower oil for beard care. This got me thinking about the practicality and effectiveness of these household oils compared to commercial beard oils. Have any of you tried using such natural oils? Which ones do you find work best for nourishing the skin and keeping the beard soft without being too greasy or shiny? Do you have any specific blends or recipes that combine these oils for optimal results? I'm looking for personal experiences and recommendations to help me choose the right oil for my beard care routine.

I've had a similar experience with olive oil being too thick for my beard but sunflower oil worked wonders for me too! It kept my beard soft without being too shiny. Have you tried sunflower oil for your beard?
