However, I'm quite particular about what I need - an assortment of guard options, an adjustable blade lever for precision, and decent battery life, all while staying under $50. Found a solid Wahl model under $50 with a variety of guards and an adjustable taper lever. Battery life's decent for light use. Might fit your bill!
