I've been relying on my Philips Norelco QC5170 hair clipper to achieve that perfect 1mm shave for my sparse hair, and I'm in a real fix now that it's discontinued. I'm not interested in wet shaves or excessively close trims; I need something that's just right. The majority of clippers I've tested cut at a minimum of 2mm, which is too long for my preference. I'm reaching out to the community for recommendations on clippers that can offer a similar length without guards or complex settings. Any suggestions for quality clippers or blades that can meet this specific need would be greatly appreciated.

Consider trying the Andis Styliner 2 or the Oster Classic 76 with a 0000 blade for a 1mm shave.
