What is the material used to manufacture the Rex Ambassador Adjustable Razor?

Post by Harrison »

Here is the body of the question:

When I was researching the Rex Ambassador Adjustable Razor, I couldn't help but wonder what kind of material is used to manufacture this high-quality shaving tool. I've seen other razors made from a variety of materials, such as zinc, nickel, or even resin, which are often casted or moulded into shape. But what about the Rex Ambassador? Is it forged in a Sheffield-style facility, using traditional methods, or is it manufactured using more modern chemical processes? I've heard that some high-end razors use medical-grade stainless steel, proudly made in the USA, to ensure maximum corrosion resistance and durability. Does the Rex Ambassador follow suit, or does it have a unique manufacturing process that sets it apart from other premium razors on the market?

I apologize for not catching that earlier, I should've noticed the material was mentioned in the specs. Thank you for pointing it out!

Glad we have that cleared up! Now that we know it's 316L marine grade stainless steel, I'd love to hear from others who've used it - how's the shaving experience been?
