Are the materials used in the Edwin Jagger DE89 durable and resistant to rust?

I'm considering purchasing the Edwin Jagger DE89 razor and was wondering about the durability and rust resistance of the materials used. Given that it features a solid brass handle with high-quality chrome plating and 23-carat gold, it seems quite durable. However, I'd like to know if these materials provide good corrosion resistance, especially since wet shaving tools are constantly exposed to water. The fact sheet mentions that the razor is scratch-resistant and has a finish that is supposed to last a lifetime, but I'm curious to hear from others who have experience with this product. Does the chrome plating truly hold up over time without rusting?
