I've been researching the Edwin Jagger DE89 safety razor and noticed that it comes with various chrome plating finishes. I'm trying to understand the differences between these finishes, such as satin, brushed, polished, and matte. For instance, how does a polished chrome handle compare to a brushed or matte one in terms of grip and durability? I also saw that the DE89 is available in different knurl patterns and was wondering if these finishes affect the overall shaving experience or if it's primarily an aesthetic choice. Does anyone have insights into how these various chrome finishes might impact the performance or feel of the Edwin Jagger DE89?
