The Appeal of Knockoff Fragrances
I've been following the conversation about the 'bathroom Polo' and the humor around knockoff colognes at local gas stations and venues. It got me thinking about the wider appeal and implications of these imitations. Why do you think there's a market for knockoff fragrances, and what does it say about our society's values concerning authenticity and brand recognition? Do we really just pay for the brand name when it comes to high-end fragrances, or is there a qualitative difference that justifies the price? Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences with designer imitations versus the real deal.
