Finding Relief with Zero Drop Footwear for Service-Related Injuries

Post by Edward61 »

I've been dealing with some significant pain in my ankles, knees and back due to collapsed arches from my time in service, which has led me to discover the benefits of zero drop footwear. They've been quite a relief after years of trying everything from orthotics to physical therapy. It sounds like many of us have found some success in zero drop or minimalist shoes, even if we aren't ready to go fully minimalist. I'm curious to hear from others who have found zero drop shoes beneficial, especially those with service-related injuries. What has been your experience transitioning to this type of footwear? Did you face any challenges, and how did you overcome them? Additionally, for those who are conscious about budget when sourcing these types of shoes, where do you find the best deals for quality zero drop footwear? Let's share our tips and experiences to help others who might be struggling with similar issues.

Transition to zero-drop: gradual yet transformative, like shedding old skin for a more natural stride.

I've also experienced relief with zero drop shoes. Transition was challenging, but slowly adjusted. I find deals on Zappos and use Vivo Barefoot. Thanks for sharing!
