Best sunscreen for sensitive skin,Expert recommendations to choose

Hey everyone

I have been on the hunt for a good sunscreen for sensitive skin and I have narrowed it down to two options that keep coming up: EltaMD UV Clear Face Sunscreen and CeraVe Hydrating Sunscreen. Both have great reviews, From what i have seen

EltaMD UV Clear is known for its lightweight texture and how well it works for acne prone or redness prone skin. It seems to absorb quickly and does not leave much residue which sounds perfect for daily wear.

CeraVe Hydrating Sunscreen on the other hand looks like a more affordable option that is mineral based with ceramides great for barrier support but I have heard it can leave a bit of a white cast.

I have got combination skin that reacts easily to new products, so I’m trying to find something gentle non-irritating and comfortable under moisturizer or light makeup.

If anyone here has tried both which one feels better throughout the day? Does the EltaMD really justify the higher price or does CeraVe hold its own for sensitive skin types?Appreciate any honest feedback my skin is counting on it!

Thanks for the reply Glad to hear EltaMD been great for you using it for two years without issues says a lot. I keep hearing it helps calm acne and redness fast which makes me want to try it even more.

I am still tempted by CeraVe too since it is more affordable and has ceramides for barrier support but that white cast everyone mentions might be a deal breaker. Might start with EltaMD and see how it goes if it is as lightweight as people say, it is probably worth the price

as I said you that I am using eltamd working great for me so try this may be CeraVe would be also best but eltamd is a brand
